Accessibility statement for Life Admin Clarity

Last updated: 9 December 2025

Life Admin Clarity is committed to making this website as accessible and easy to use as reasonably possible for all visitors, including people with disabilities, long-term conditions and different access needs.

This statement explains how we approach accessibility, where the site may still fall short, and how you can contact us if you need support or want to give feedback.

Our approach to accessibility

Life Admin Clarity is a small, UK-based website run by one person. I aim to:

  • Use clear structure and headings so pages are easy to navigate.
  • Use plain English and avoid unnecessary jargon.
  • Use readable fonts, sensible line spacing and generous white space.
  • Use colour and contrast in a way that supports readability.
  • Make sure content is usable on mobile, tablet and desktop.

I aim, over time, to work towards the principles in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, at level AA, as far as is realistic for a small site.

What I have done so far

On most pages you should find that:

  • Headings follow a logical order (H1, H2, H3) to help with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
  • Text is left-aligned and broken into short paragraphs and bullet points where helpful.
  • Links are clearly identified in the text.
  • The site layout adapts to different screen sizes.
  • Content does not rely on colour alone to convey meaning where practical.

Known limitations

Although I want the site to be accessible, I know there may still be issues, including:

  • Some older or more complex pages may not yet fully follow best practice heading structure.
  • Some images may not yet have complete or useful alternative text, especially where content is still being added.
  • Embedded documents (such as PDF downloads) may not always be fully accessible to screen readers.
  • Some form elements and buttons rely on the standard behaviour of WordPress themes and plugins, which may not be perfect for all assistive technologies.

I am gradually improving these areas as I update and add content.

If you have difficulty using this site

If you experience any problems accessing content on Life Admin Clarity, or if you need information in a different format, please let me know.

For example, you can ask for:

  • A plain-text version of a page or document.
  • A description of an image or diagram.
  • Help finding a particular piece of information.

You can contact me via the Contact page on this site. Please include:

  • The page or resource you were trying to use (URL if possible).
  • What you were trying to do.
  • Any assistive technologies or settings you are using (for example screen reader, browser zoom or high-contrast mode).

I cannot promise to fix every issue immediately, but I will do my best to:

  • Respond within a reasonable time.
  • Explain what I can and cannot change.
  • Offer an alternative way of providing the information where possible.

Feedback and improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Your feedback helps me prioritise improvements that make the biggest difference.

If you have suggestions for making the site easier to use, please share them via the Contact page.

Thank you for helping to make Life Admin Clarity more accessible.
